Senior Bankruptcy/Collections Paralegal

We’re seeking an exceptional Senior Bankruptcy and Collections Paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced environment where you directly shape client success.
Your Role
​
Manage cases from intake to closure, including these responsibilities:
-
Assist at counsel’s table in court.
-
Drive cases forward with precision and before deadlines—always.
-
Manage docket, 341 meetings, discovery, calendar, communications, and files.
-
Draft Chapter 7, 11, 13, 15, and adversary petitions and compelling plain-English pleadings, demand letters, and correspondence.
-
Research the law and prepare trial notebooks.
-
Deliver client experiences that turn clients into raving fans.
-
Anticipate and independently solve challenges.
-
Partner with the founding attorney to free him to focus on client development and counseling, strategic legal thinking, trials, negotiations, and vision.
Requirements
-
Any bachelor’s degree, associate’s paralegal degree, Texas Board of Legal Specialization paralegal certification, or other recognized paralegal certification.
-
5+ years of bankruptcy and collections paralegal work.
-
Expertise in U.S. Bankruptcy Code and Rules, Federal civil procedure, evidence, and collection law, and PACER e-filing.
-
Proficient in or quick to master AI, Westlaw, Office 365, Clio, etc.
-
Big picture and detail oriented.
-
Coachable, self-reflective, caring, and competitive (but not cut-throat).

Growth mindset, adaptability, and high emotional intelligence.

$80,000-$90,000+ base salary based on experience and ability to hit the ground running with limited guidance.

5+ years of Texas commercial/civil litigation paralegal work sans personal injury.
-
Expertise in Texas civil procedure, evidence, and e-filing.
-
Proficient in or quick to master AI, Westlaw, Office 365, Clio, etc.
